Affectionate Care Therapy Animals, LLC (ACTA) is a dedicated service offering emotional support and companionship through certified therapy dogs. Our clients have different types of needs and we work with them in a number of settings where support may be needed.
Meet Tanyia
Hi, I’m Tanyia Davila, owner of Affectionate Care Therapy Animals.
I love to see my animals helping others, whether it is assisting a group of kids at a school or bringing comfort to the elderly at a senior care facility.
We love to make people smile and help them heal.
Therapy Dogs vs. Service Dogs
Therapy dogs are different from service dogs, which are specially trained to perform tasks for people with disabilities. Therapy dogs don’t have the same special access as service dogs in public places.
